We are excited to announce that the Texas Liver Foundation is launching a new virtual support group specifically tailored for liver transplant recipients.
Introducing Our Post-Transplant Virtual Support Group
A liver transplant is a significant life event. Understanding the magnitude of this journey, we have created a virtual support group specifically for community members seeking community after transplant.
Why Join a Group?
Finding others who can relate to what you’ve lived through can be challenging, especially after a major health crisis. A support group brings together people with similar lived experience to share encouragement, guidance, and hope. There are several reasons why our support group could be right for you:
- Accessibility: Our group is virtual, allowing you to join from anywhere. All you need is an internet connection.
- Community: It’s comforting to connect with others who understand what you’ve been through. Our group offers a safe space for liver transplant recipients to share experiences and offer mutual support.
- Information: Our group provides insights and information. You’ll receive guidance on managing your health post-transplant, and much more.
- Empowerment: We aim to empower you to take charge of your health and your life. Joining our group is a step towards becoming your own best health advocate.
