Hepatitis C

Dr. Dike is a Pediatric Transplant Hepatology fellow at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch. She later completed her Pediatric residency and Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. Her clinical and research interests include cholestatic liver diseases and liver transplant outcomes.

Dr. Saira Khaderi is a Transplant Hepatologist and Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. She has developed a strong interest in hepatology and liver transplantation. During her residency, she was involved in research related to complications of portal hypertension, and in 2006 she was honored with the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases Travel Scholar Award, an award given to accomplished trainees with potential for a career in academic medicine. Her research regarding outcomes of patients transplanted with portopulmonary hypertension has been presented at several major conferences, including the 48th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) in Amsterdam and in the Digestive Disease Week (DDW) in Orlando. Her current research interests include hepatitis C, complications of portal hypertension, and liver transplant outcomes.

J. Michael Treviño (Michael), a lawyer, has more than thirty years of experience in legislative and regulatory advocacy, communications, outreach strategies, image development, reputation management and coalition building.  He is active and supportive of numerous civic organizations in Texas and sits on multiple boards.  The Texas Liver Foundation is fortunate to have him as a board member.
